Akidy Terms of Service

1. The service

Akidy provides playful learning activities for children aged 2–6, managed through a parent account. The catalog, daily plans, streaks, badges and parent dashboard are provided as-is and evolve over time.

2. Accounts

Accounts may only be created by adults who are the parent or legal guardian of the children they add. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account. One account manages one family.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to access other families' data, no automated scraping, no reverse engineering of the API beyond what applicable law permits, no reselling of content.

4. Subscriptions

• The free tier includes a selection of learning worlds and all core features.
• Akidy Premium unlocks the full catalog. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
• Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; billing, renewal and cancellation are managed in your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the store.
• Refunds follow the store's refund policies.
• We may grant promotional access at our discretion.

5. Content

All learning content, characters, artwork and software are owned by Akidy or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app with your family. Content availability may change; we aim to grow, not shrink, the catalog.

6. Privacy and children

Our Privacy Policy (in the app under Settings → Privacy & Data) is part of these terms. Child profiles exist only under parental consent, which you may withdraw at any time by deleting the profile or the account.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service, with notice where reasonably possible.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Akidy is an educational aid, not a substitute for professional educational or medical advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
